Cap Ferrat
We successfully executed the selective demolition of a 30,000 square foot pool deck as part of a comprehensive restoration project. Our scope of work included the removal of all pavers, a 4–12 inch thick concrete topping, and the waterproofing base layer. This crucial work allowed the contractor to re-waterproof the structural suspended slab and proceed with remodeling the condominium pool deck. Our expertise in concrete and demolition ensured the project was completed efficiently, maintaining safety and minimizing disruption to the surrounding areas.
Penthouse Decks: The penthouse deck demolition presented distinct challenges, requiring the careful transportation of over 7,000 square feet of materials and debris via mast climbers. This process demanded precise planning and coordination, especially given the intense Florida heat. Despite the complexities, our team efficiently managed the removal of all 7,000 square feet of penthouse debris, in addition to handling the 23,000 square feet of debris from the post-tension (PT) deck below. The project was successfully completed within the stringent timeline, with all concrete materials diverted from landfills for recycling, contributing to the sustainable goals of the project.
The Cap Ferrat topping removal project was a significant success, and we take great pride in the outcome achieved by our team. Both the general contractor and the client expressed their satisfaction with the result. We would also like to recognize the exceptional leadership and expertise demonstrated by our Project Manager, Connor McGraw, in ensuring the project’s success.
